Lauren qualified from the University of Pretoria in 2003 and after completing her community service at Nqwelezane hospital in Zululand, she worked and travelled in and around the UK. On return to South Africa, she enrolled for a post graduate qualification and completed her neurosmusculoskeletal course( OMT1) in 2007. Lauren has been working in private practice ever since. She regularly does courses to keep up to date with current research and best practices. Some of these include dry needling, kinesio taping, myofascial release and pain management to name but a few. In 2016, Lauren and her husband relocated to Durban from Johannesburg, and her son was born that year. Her little girl was born 21 months later, and they keep her very busy when she is not at work. She does manage to fit in the odd game of tennis, golf, walk/run or yoga class. Lauren is passionate about getting to know you, understanding your concerns and about helping to guide you to where you want to be. She believes in using hands on techniques in conjunction with exercises and advice in order to best achieve this. Lauren works out of our Gateway practice.
