Usraa qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2018 at UKZN Westville and completed her community service in Giyani, Limpopo. A lot of her work passions and ambitions are closely linked to her personal life. Her keen interest in sport, movement and adventure has played a major role in her career choice. She is also motivated by the ability to give someone hope and another chance at a functional life. A challenge like this pandemic has emphasized for her the importance of the physio profession, especially in intensive and high-care environments. Usraa loves anything outdoors, whether it’s hikes, runs or just a good beach day. She’s also passionate about using her downtime to travel, meet new people and learn about different cultures. She hopes to further her education with postgraduate studies in sports performance and women’s health physio. Usraa works out of our branches at Netcare Umhlanga Hospital and Busamed Gateway Private Hospital.
